Family Resources

Utility Assistance

  1. Ohio Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
    Offers assistance to income-eligible families for heating and cooling costs.

  2. Columbus CARES 211
    Provides referrals to local utility assistance programs and resources.

  3. American Electric Power (AEP) Ohio Assistance Programs
    Offers payment plans and energy-saving programs to help manage utility bills.

Scholarships for Daycare

  1. OhioRISE Scholarship
    OhioRISE (Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence) provides support for children with complex behavioral health needs, including assistance with childcare and other family services.

  2. Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Child Care Assistance Program
    Offers financial assistance for childcare costs to qualifying low-income families.

 

Early Education for Children with Developmental Delays

 

  1. Ohio Early Intervention (EI)
    Supports families with children under age 3 who have developmental delays or disabilities by connecting them with resources and specialists.

  2. Preschool Special Education Services (Local School District)
    Provides services for children aged 3–5 with delays, including speech therapy and developmental support. Contact your local school district for evaluations and enrollment.

    A free program offering developmental screenings, referrals, and support for young children and their families.
